FIgure News: ARIA 1/6 PVC Akari and Friends!
Published May 26th, 2006 in Figurine NewsIf I had known these were coming out, I would never have bought the wreck that is the Yujin SR DX Aria series. Such is life.
Anyway, Solid Works will be releasing six (!) of these 1/6 scaled PVC figurines over a period of time. Meaning all six of the main cast will be released. DAMMNN EACH COSTS 7329 yen!! To collect them all takes 43974 yen!! OMG. This is the kind of bitter-sweet moment when you don’t know what kind of facial expression to wear.
I wish they were 1/8s. I really do.
But still, they look quite brilliant.

Reading this directly after watching an episode of ARIA is hazardous to one’s wallet…
Dammit, it’s so sad to watch those pictures and know i can’t buy any…
Oh god, I must buy at least one of these, probably Alice, regardless of the price. They look so lovely, and I need to add some Aria merchandise to the collection.
The problem with these series that have all the characters is that you feel compelled to buy them all. Happened to me with the Galaxy Angel Set.
Aika looks a bit too foxy here but Alissa and Alice look great.
Must…keep…wallet…shut…
Unfortunately (or thankfully), since Akari’s face is too off for my liking, I’m probably not going to buy any, since I like Akari best. But Alissa looks somewhat stiff for my liking.
