Aiming High is Headache Inducing - Site Overhaul
Published September 21st, 2006 in AdministrativeI had big plans. I planned to convert my header image into a updatable gallery showcasing the latest Riuva figurine review thumbnails, and with links to them. After designing the header and slicing everything, I spotted a tiny setback - I didn’t actually know how to do it.
Reading up on the net didn’t help much because I got pissed, so I just redid the old banner that I got sick of. So behold, after 3 hours of silly work, all I have to show for is a new banner and an accompanying background. It does help freshen up the site a bit though.
And yeah I just got a random image off Danbooru for the header.

I’m not trying to be negative, but the header just doesn’t look very….. professional, I guess. See, your old header was like the MMD3, and this one is just like all the other winamp skins out there.
That sketch does look pretty nice, though.
I like it. I don’t like the background - but everything else is fine.
Never did use winamp and its skins. But considering I didn’t do the bulk of the last banner, I can’t really call it my own. And neither did I draw this picture, just slapped it on. Someday I’m going to do the rotating headers.
