Riuva Debuts on Japanese TV!

Now that Riuva has made its official debut on Japanese TV, in a show called Blog TV, I’m looking to move into Hollywood and take the lead role of the latest erotic slasher flick.

So let us celebrate this joyous moment of pure glory and honour!

YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!! YEAH!! I R FAMOUS!!

Ok my site wasn’t featured. A link to my site was briefly shown. But as the current Tiger Beer ad campaign stresses, "Celebrate the Small Things in Life!". Alafista was also shown.

But more seriously, Danny Choo was the guest for the Super Blog segment of the show which normally has one outstanding blogger in a particular subject matter talk about his hobby and other notable sites. The topic of the day was "Figure" and Danny’s Stairway to Heaven post was featured. IIRC he mentioned he had 80 or so Gundam, or was it 800? My own collection is probably 60-80 ish, lost count somewhere. My Japanese comprehension has gotten pretty slick recently and I could get the show without subs. It was funny when the female host commented on the sites, Moeyo and Akibablog, as "Chotto ecchi desu ne" (It’s a bit pervy isn’t it?) Another thing discussed was how foreigners thought it was "kakkoii" (cool) to be an otaku. The hosts were puzzled and horrified by this. They sure are right, because otaku are losers. Thank goodness I’m not one.

I should print and frame up the first screenshot. lol. The show was pretty uninteresting though. Imagine if it weren’t Danny but a random man talking about gardening. Seriously, how do they sustain any form of ratings? Besides, the show appeals to the net-savvy, who probably won’t watch these type of shows at all.
