I realised I haven’t really done any quizzes since the dinosaurs still ruled. Setting and doing quizzes are actually a great way to keep abreast of the latest and the most obscure of anime knowledge, to prove that you aren’t just a n00blet or worse, a Naruto fanboy.

oh dear, i only knew 3 of those off the top of my head, didn’t know that about red garden though that’s cool! I just thought it was the revolutionary funny nose style - and my VLC players inability to be able to cope with the mkv subbed files :S Ooo and I love Rinali!

Naisu Kuizu!

With 150 NEW TV anime series out for 2006 and about 200 if you count OVAs/movie, I’m not surprised that I only know 4 of the questions from memory. Remember I did NOT count eroanime.

The RED GARDEN technique isn’t so groundbreaking. US animation used to be done like that before they borrowed the idea from Japanimation. This explains why classic Western cartoons will more expensive that their anime counterparts.

And the KnightRider is amusing. XD

With 2006 coming to close, here’s my top 5 picks for 2006~
* Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu was an unexpected surprise. A clever story subverting and enforcing cliches with great storytelling by KyoAni.
* Yoshinagasan no Gargoyle had to be here because of Chiwa but it is a really well-told and directed story about a girl and her alchemical Gargoyle.
* Higurashi used the story arcs to tell a murder mystery involving girls killing. How could that go wrong? =P
* Death Note may get silly with the games they play but the effort and psychological battle makes this worthwhile.
* Black Lagoon was probably the one that I least expected to be good. Who knew action movie physics could be wedded to periods of introspection?

Actually, it’s pretty much impossible because nobody watches this mix of shows, not even myself. Out of the 20 here, I don’t watch GIFT. Erm yeah, so I watch the others though some intermittently like Bartender, Red Garden etc.

Waterfall: Who cares about western shit?

Hazel: Escaflowne had just as bad noses.

Wolves and the way: It just means you are pretty normal. Unless of course you know the exact hand seals to the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu.

Wow, zero answers for me. Outside looking in, you’d think my anime watching days suck hen I just follow one series, but to me, Code Geass is more than enough. I didn’t know the one and only Code Geass question though.

Do not use any < and > for your own sake. It will end the comment there and then. Also, there is an automatic IQ filter which weeds out comments made by those who accidentally got transported from the stone age.
