Some of you guys may be old enough to remember the Graphgate, where a certain now-defunct animeblogger complained about how Japanese bloggers are superior because they used graphs. That comment is now known in blogging history textbooks as "Graph Harbour" and was the direct spark which started the subsequent "World Graph War".

Anyway, Gurren Lagann is very awesome and I attempted to analyse why it is so awesome. My conclusions can be summarised in the following graph.

Note that due to space constraints, several key events have been left out, such as Kamina’s death but you get the gist of it. Gurren Lagann progresses plot-wise in an oscillating fashion, with an equal number of ups and downs. Every up (crest) is followed by a down (trough) just like a sine curve. Unlike a sine curve however, the amplitude does not have a maximum or a minimum and instead, increases infinitely.

Unfortunately, any further attempt to analyse the graph was rendered impossible by the overload of spiral energy.

Lol more like photoshop spiral filter. Would be nice if you did a graph on gintama but it will probably overload faster then gurren.

Divide by zero?

Do not use any < and > for your own sake. It will end the comment there and then. Also, there is an automatic IQ filter which weeds out comments made by those who accidentally got transported from the stone age.
